The Intermediate Agility class starts Tuesday September 19, 2017 at 6:30-7:30 pm and is a 6 week class.  

The class is taught OUTSIDE in a fenced in grass ring. Class size is limited.


Instructors: Cathy Davis and Sandy Saxer

Intermediate agility is for dogs who  have successfully completed Beginner Agility and are comfortable on the table, tunnel, tire and jumps. Intermediate agility will introduce the contact equipment including the dog walk, A frame and teeter.  The weave poles will also be introduced.  We will also begin short handling sequences with equipment the dogs are comfortable with performing.  Emphasis will be on building confidence and team work with your dog.

Orientation is 6:30 pm Thursday September 14, 2017 WITHOUT Dogs is required for all participants.

Registration forms must be received by Friday August 25, 2017. Forms can be filled out online, printed and mailed.

Cathy is currently competing in Excellent and Masters level AKC agility with her Border Collie, Lou.  She also competes in USDAA  and UKC agility events and has attended and participated  in numerous agility and dog training seminars and clinics.  She also enjoys herding and barn hunting with her border collie and is looking forward to starting competing with her new border collie puppy , Dale.






Sandy began dog training six years ago with her Golden Retriever, Annie and Basset mix, Dudley in Basic Obedience and they are now both in Advanced Agility and loving every minute of it. Sandy has taught several classes for the Kennel club and has assisted in many others. “This is not something I ever thought I would be doing, but I’m so glad I started this with my dogs. I love being involved with dogs and their people!”
